Why Did You Decide to Become a Dentist?

Growing up with Dr. Craig Baginski as a father means you’re going to spend quite a lot of time around dentistry—which is naturally what made Dr. Kyle gravitate towards it! In school, he found himself enjoying and excelling at science, and the more he learned about the oral healthcare field, the more fascinated he became. He loves having the ability to work with his hands every day while engaging in problem-solving, and getting to directly improve the lives of his patients is a plus!

Where Did You Study Dentistry?

Dr. Kyle graduated from Jesuit College Preparatory and attended the University of Oklahoma, completing a Bachelor of Science in Health and Exercise Science (as well as a minor in Biology) in 2013. He then spent a year working in the Alumni Service Corps program, where he served as a chemistry teacher, an assistant in the community service department, and an assistant golf coach.

He then began dental school at the Texas A&M College of Dentistry, earning his Doctor of Dental Surgery in 2018. He also attended the California Implant Institute Live Patient Surgical Externship, where he gained hands-on experience from experts in advanced implant techniques. Today, he is proud to have been awarded his Fellowship through the International Council of Oral Implantologists.

Outside of the Dental Office, What Do You Like to Do?

When Dr. Kyle has free time, he enjoys going for walks through places like the Katy Trail in Dallas, exercising, and playing golf. He also loves spending time with his wife, Ashton, and their two boys, Charlie and Shepherd. Watching his sons grow up is truly one of his greatest pleasures. One really interesting fact about him: he actually caddied for Jordan Spieth in his first PGA Tour tournament at the 2010 Byron Nelson Championship!
